The Dating Game

John Njoroge

John Njoroge: Globetrotter John Njoroge (pronounced Jarojee) was born in Nairobi, Kenya, attended school in London, and moved to the United States nine years ago. "I'd always wanted to experience the States," says the good-natured John.

Keith Litke

Keith Litke: Keith Litke became an Internet entrepreneur around the time thousands of other dot-commers were losing the denim shirts right off their backs.

Tami Greenslade

Tami Greenslade: Tami Greenslade is the classic Southeastern Minnesota 'boomerang,' a person who returns to their roots after several years away.

Jennifer Hoff

Jennifer Hoff: In the competitive world of broadcast news, it's practically unheard of to land an on-air news job in a Rochester-sized market fresh out of college.

Courtney Lawson

Courtney Lawson: After earning a master's degree in public health from the University of Michigan in 2006, Courtney Lawson followed her heart—and a hometown boy she'd met in grad school—to Rochester.

Joel Johanningmeier

Joel Johanningmeier: It's early October, but Joel Johanningmeier is still sporting a deep tan. In fact, Joel is outdoors so much—between his paid job working as an agricultural consultant and his unpaid job serving as president of the Rochester Waterski Show Team—that his tan may be perpetual.

Jennifer & Eric Woodford

Jennifer & Eric Woodford: In many ways, Jennifer and Eric Woodford are the quintessential young Rochester couple. They both work 40-plus hours a week, have two young children, and are always on the go, whether it be running to a meeting at their church, Good Shepherd Lutheran, or coaching t-ball. Yet despite their busy schedules, they always manage to squeeze in time for one another. "We've been very lucky. We each found the right person, Jen says.

Roz & Meyer Kramer

Roz & Meyer Kramer: Roz and Meyer Kramer put the 'sweet' in sweethearts. They've been joined at the hip since Roz was in 10th grade and Meyer was in 11th, two years after Meyer first noticed the blond-haired, blue-eyed new gal on the block who walked to school in knee-high argyle socks. "When we first started going out, Meyer said he was giving me until prom time to fall in love with him. That was so cute!" Roz remembers. Forty years later, the spark is still very much alive between Roz, a psychologist in private practice, and Meyer, a financial analyst at IBM.
